Going With The Flow

Hello friends! It's been a bit since I've shared my heart here at Eclectic Heart! Life has been a roller coaster ride of Faith for us! I'm thankful that there is a bench where I've been able to rest while I'm in this amusement park of life.  We have been trying to school, work ministry, grow in The Lord, manage other areas and it has been so hard to make this blog a priority. I often contemplate to let it go. I keep saying that part of blogging when my kids were younger was just a season and blogging isn't in my season anymore. But there is always this little nagging that will not let me let it go!

Blogging use to be one of my favorite hobbies. I loved writing, reading, and meeting so many great like minded people in the blogosphere. But it has become a rarity for me to do any of that. Today, I just wanted to share my thoughts and let you all know we are good and plugging away!

I hope you all are well! Love you all!

  1. I just typed a comment and something happened - it vanished, well, I wanted to share this:

    1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

I've felt like I've been on this roller coaster as well but finally coming off it and finding that rest on that bench you mentioned LOL! It is always nice to get an update every now and then from you, don't mind that it is just every once and a while - that is still ok! Once you are a writer/blogger, I don't think you ever really outgrow it, at least not me - I was blogging when it was called journaling with AOL! Before that, before the internet, I was writing in paper journals. Now having a blog, I feel I have a purpose and see how God uses it in various people's lives - you never know who you will touch or how God will lead a person to your blog to receive a word so fitly spoken!!
