When do YOU Decorate for Spring/Easter?

We have been having BLISSFUL weather. I am not use to the South yet and it warms up a whole lot quicker than Illinois. I am thankful for that. One thing I do not miss about the Midwest is the cold, and long gray winters.

I am planning on decorating for Easter March 1st. I usually just do a general switch out of Spring Décor such as wreaths, and table arrangements for spring. But I like to add pops of Easter themed Décor in the midst of it.

When do you decorate for Spring/Easter?

Blessings,
Chrissy T

  1. Hello Chrissy,

I am usually too lazy to decorate much, but my daughters love to decorate. It will be fun to see what you do for Easter.

  2. I like to decorate in March, too. Even if the weather isn't super warm yet, it is nice to lighten things up inside and enjoy the warmth to come!

    1. I agree! I can only stay so long in hibernate mode. *Smiles* I love the onset of winter but I am ready come March to force it to leave. Haha!

  3. That is what I love about the South also..that it warms up faster then the north. With March still holding on to winter some in the north. We love to head South GA to see our daughters ~ they are usually warm with all the flowers and trees starting to bloom. I love to fresh up March the lst as well.

  4. I will decorate a few days before. It is almost Autumn here and after a sweltering Summer I am loving our cooler mornings and evenings. Have a great day.

    1. I bet you are enjoying cooler. I have been to the Pacific area in Winter (Solomon Islands close to Australia) and it was hot in the winter there.

  5. I must confess that I don't do a lot for Easter. I usually bring out a few handmade items and tuck them around my home a few weeks before Easter :)

I hope we get to see your lovely Easter decorations :) Hugs!

  6. I generally do it around the first of March. I will admit that I still have Valentine's Day things up! I guess I had better get my act together. :)

  7. I don't typically decorate much for the seasons or holidays, but whatever season it is, I love fresh flowers, and a colorful bow tied on some of my plants is always fun to freshen up the seasonal look. I look forward to your spring decor :)
